Photos & Writeup by Lynn & Carol Petre:

Tuesday started out as an overcast day and a little chilly, but it was a perfect weather day all day and evening.  Our rally group started coming in throughout the afternoon and we all gathered at  Lynn and Carol Petre’s campsite at 4:00 -5:00 for happy hour.  Left the campground and went to dinner at 5:30 and had a very nice evening and dinner at the Jamesport Brewing Company Restaurant downtown Ludington.  Came back to Petre’s campsite for a campfire and lots of catching up with each other.  Had a beautiful sunset.

Wednesday morning breakfast was at Pat and John Daubenmier’s lot.  French toast & sausage casserole was on the menu.  Everyone had the day to themselves to do what they wanted to do.  We met back at Petre’s site for 4:00 Happy Hour and everyone left to do their own dinner plans.  We met back at Petre’s site sat 7:00 for root beer floats provided by Linda Fisher, followed by a campfire at our site.  Was a little cooler weather this evening so the fire felt nice.

Thursday morning there was breakfast at John and Pat’s site again, breakfast Egg & Sausage Casserole.  From 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. everyone had free time to do what they wanted to do.  We had Happy Hour at the Round house from 4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.  Played a game called “ Not Quite Newly Weds”.  Had spouses guess how their partner would answer different questions. Was a lot of fun.  Had a tie with three couples with 7 out of 10 questions matched.  So, we gave them each two more questions to match.  The winners were Third place Sharon and Jim Morris, Second Place was Suzie and Lee Brink and First Place was Scott and Barbara Builta.  We handed out medals to them.  Was just something a little different to mix things up and have some fun.  We had our potluck right after the Happy Hour in the Round House.  Becky and Terry Walters furnished the meat.  We had cream chicken on buns, plus all the other goodies everyone brought.  No one went away hungry.  Jim and Barbara Builta brought an anniversary cake to celebrate their anniversary for dessert.  Had our business meeting afterwards and finished up at about  8:30 P.M. and then had a campfire at Petre’s site until about 10:00 P.M.  Had a beautiful sunset. Nice day with perfect weather.

Friday, everyone who was interested met for doughnuts that were provided by Jim and Barbarba Bulta.  By noon everyone was on the road heading home.
